Celebrate Pentecost with Mathias Michael at St. Elizabeth of Hungary

The Apple Valley Catholic Collaborative is proud to bring Mathias Michael to help us celebrate Pentecost this year in a very special way! On Sunday May 20, Mathias will join us for the Sunday 5:00 PM Mass at St. Elizabeth. At 6:00, we will have a picnic inside and outside of the Parish Center Hall. (Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs!) At 7:00PM, he will lead us in beautiful praise and worship in the church.

Mathias Michael is a worship leader and singer/songwriter from Cocoa Beach, FL. Influenced by musicians like Matt Maher and John Mayer, Mathias has a relevant sound that appeals across generations. His music encourages listeners to seek a more personal relationship with Christ by recognizing His constant movement in our everyday lives. In the live setting, Mathias seeks to inspire communities to come together in song and worship, so they may experience the liberation and healing that comes from an authentic encounter with the Holy Spirit. You don't want to miss this special event! For more information about Mathias, you can visit his website at: http://www.mmichaelmusic.com

Resources for Discipleship Registration form
(PDF format)

The life, worship, activities, and programs in our collaborative are all intended to help you to know Jesus Christ more personally and to go forth ever more prepared to share the Good News with others. These all-important tasks cannot be accomplished quickly. We come to know Christ and his love gradually as we live our lives and celebrate our worship. Our readiness to respond also increases only over time. We ought to be patient, but are to keep moving forward—always.
The registration booklet represents a portion of all the collaborative offers to accompany its parishioners and others who come our way. It builds on what we have done up to now, and will be the starting point for future improvements.

The booklet includes registration information for G.I.F.T., First Reconciliation/Eucharist, and Confirmation in addition to programs for all parishioners.

Pastoral Plan

June 1, 2016 - Over the last year, a team of staff and parishioners has written the Pastoral Plan that will guide our collaborative over the next 3-5 years. The team went through several months of training, reflection, and many evenings of brainstorming, discussion and finally writing of the pastoral plan. The plan has been reviewed and approved by Cardinal Sean. You can read the it here. If you have any questions please email them to Diahne Goodwin at pastoralplan@applevalleycatholic.org

The Joy of the Gospel - an Apostolic Exhortation by Pope Francis

With the generosity of a parishioner who wishes to remain anonymous, we are pleased to present a copy of The Joy of the Gospel to all who attend Easter Mass. We hope this will start an ongoing conversation on the topics addressed by this wonderful document.
